On Feb 4th Ashlyn had to have oral surgery. She had a thick piece of skin attached to the top of her lip and it wrapped all the way down and between her two front teeth. It was causing a gap and they said it would affect her big teeth from coming in correctly. I wish I would have taken a before picture but I forgot. She was very brave, they were planning on putting her to sleep but she did so well they didn't have to!

After looks pretty bad, they basically burned all the skin off so it looked like she had a bad burn on her gums.
Even after all that she wanted to have lunch at her favorite place, Taco Bell! I wasn't so sure but if it's what sounded good.
Then we ran a few places, she picked out some sun glasses!

After it's all healed up! Now both of her big teeth are lose!
Ashlyn had the bright idea to take a picture of JP's mouth. He has the same issue but hers was a lot worse. That piece of skin from the top was a lot thicker and went all the way down between the teeth on Ashlyn. JP's is thin and barely goes between the teeth but they recommend he has the same surgery in a year or two so his adult teeth will come in where they should!
